TBBCC members and friends,
I will be attending the Group Therapy Rallye Team Road Rally in Lakeland this Saturday,
October 24th. Registration is still open - $30.00. Benefiting a local charity and lunch also included. I have attended previous ones as part of the Mid Florida Auto Show and Lake Mirror Concours yearly events. This year, the rally is sanctioned by the SCCA after a review by an SCCA Road Rally Steward. It’s fun, great cars and people, and proper social distancing will be observed throughout. Dust-off the car, burn that old gas in the tank, and let’s get the driving season a brilliant start! More information on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TBBCC/ (link at top of page) and on their website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/group-therapy-rallye-team-fall-auto-fun-rally-tickets-110353151246?aff=ebdssbdestsearch

TBBCC sanctioned Drive to Dade City is on Saturday October 31! You may wear your Halloween mask in lieu of the cloth PPE if preferred. 😉 We will meet at the McDonalds at the intersection
of US 41 and FL 54 for a prompt departure at 10AM. Turn by turn instructions are here.
I recommend you print yours and keep it handy for the drive. There will not be a driver’s meeting nor will I be approaching anyone to handout the instructions, complying with social distancing. The usual rest stop has been revised after many have shared their concerns for safety while outside the cars on Ramsey Road. The newly designated rest stop is on St. Joe road just after turning right off Ramsey. With the exception of the number of cars being small, we will be using the new rest stop. The finish line has been revised since we will not be meeting for lunch at a restaurant. The finish line is inside the John S. Burks Memorial Park - Two miles shy of downtown Dade City. Restrooms are available at the park. There are picnic tables available for everyone to enjoy their own carry-out lunches. There is no provision to reserve the picnic tables, so they will be available as a first-come-first-serve basis. Those interested in watching the local kids play soccer, softball, and or baseball, there should be a game or two going on while we’re there. If you prefer to have a sit-down lunch at a local restaurant, there are plenty to chose from downtown. Just follow SR 52 for two more miles, instead of turning left on Gene Nelson Road.

Looking forward to seeing all those familiar faces after such a long break! Stay safe and be well.

Don’t rush through life. Enjoy it one “gear” at a time!
